Writing & sending
Write, preview, and send
How to compose in the writing room, preview exactly what your reader gets, and send safely.
The writing room is deliberately simple: it reads like the email it is. From, to, subject, message. No blocks to wrestle, no templates to fight.
Write
- From shows the sender you’re using. To lets you send to everyone or a saved group.
- Give it a subject worth opening.
- Optionally add inbox preview text, the short line some inboxes show after the subject.
- Write your message. Keep it personal. The emails that feel human get the most replies.
You can insert personalisation (like a first name), add links, images, and simple formatting from the toolbar. Everything you add is rendered into constrained, bulletproof HTML that survives Outlook.
Preview
Click Preview to see exactly what your reader will receive, including desktop, mobile, and plain-text views. What you see is what sends.
Send yourself a test
Use Send test to email a copy to yourself. Test emails don’t track opens, don’t count against anyone’s subscription, and can’t unsubscribe a real subscriber. They’re purely for checking.
Review and send
When you’re ready, open Review & send. DearReach checks your sender, domain, postal address, content, and audience, then shows you what (if anything) needs attention. You can then:
- Send now, or
- Schedule it for a specific time, or
- Set a “do not deliver after” deadline under advanced options. If an outage would push the send past it, DearReach pauses instead of sending late.
Once sent, your audience is fixed, suppression is enforced, and every delivery is recorded so you always know what happened.
